Mount Carmel parish has a proud tradition of helping those in need through the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society. Mr Frank Walsh is the president of the society for the Mt Carmel Branch supported by Gerald Burns and Maureen Walsh. Collections for the work of the SVP are held in church one a month. Monthly collection 11/12th March
